Change Africa Project and Conference, South Africa 2023 is an Innovation for Empowerment and Development (IFED) Global initiative to assemble young Africans in the diaspora and at home on cultural exchange, policy reviews, social project discussions and implementation of projects on the continent.

The Project will see to the preparation of Five Selected developmental projects into an implementational plan with budget and Timelines. The holder(s) of the project who are/is lead(s) join(s) the working team together with representatives of selected IGOs, NGOs and other interested parties/industry players to work in the development of the plan and raise the requisite funding for the implementation as IFED Global supervises, monitors and evaluates the projects.

In as much as Africa is considered to be a very promising continent, Africa has also become known to have some very disturbing traits, which includes poor governance leading to mismanagement of abundant natural resources, high unemployment rate, tendency to borrow but with little to show for, being perceived as a corrupt continent and to mention but a few.

Considering the aforementioned, the conference is assembling youth leaders, students, experts, private, public and government officials on thematic policy reviews, discussions for cutting edge solutions to the continent’s socio-economic development. The working groups would also have the responsibility to implement the selected projects. Project selection is made by the stakeholders of the project who are the implementing organisations, namely, ministries, government agencies, inter-governmental organisations, non-governmental organisations, etc.
